AVROTROS Friday Concert

The AVROTROS Friday Concert brings the most beautiful music to life every week. With the resident ensembles, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the Groot Omroepkoor, and many guest ensembles, the series presents another rich concert season every year. You will hear well-known works, but also unknown works by well-known composers, Dutch music and premieres. In addition, there is always a lot of attention for the new generation.

AVROTROS Friday Concert

In season 2020-2021, the 75th anniversary of the Radio Fillharmonisch Orkest and the Groot Omroepkoor is celebrated, Noa Wildschut is the first artist in residence and the composers Saint-Saëns and Stravinsky are highlighted.

Season 2021-2022 will be presented in three wonderful series. Each series will focus on the theme 'The Four Elements'. Maria Milstein is artist in residence and there is special attention for the music of Skrjabin, Franck and Sibelius. Click here for the 2021-2022 season brochure.

AVROTROS Vrijdagconcert is a production of AVROTROS in cooperation with NPO Klassiek, the Stichting Omroep Muziek and TivoliVredenburg. The concerts are broadcast live on NPO Radio 4.
