The Amsterdam Youth Symphony Orchestra (AYSO) is a collaboration of two Amsterdam youth orchestras: those of Music School Amsterdam and of Music School Amsterdam-Noord. Over eighty musicians between the ages of 13 and 20 rehearse weekly and give regular concerts. AYSO's repertoire includes the music from the movie The Snowman, and exactly with that they come to Hilversum with conductor Peter Veenhuizen for - anyway - a white Christmas. The Snowman is a classic winter movie with beautiful music, based on the bestseller by Raymond Briggs. The story is about a boy and his snowman, who comes to life at midnight. The two then have a night of adventures.
