Join us in celebrating 600 years of Hilversum during the extra festive edition of OPEN035. On Friday evening, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra will play a special open-air concert especially for the city's birthday. On Saturday you can enjoy live music, art exhibitions, film screenings, spoken word, workshops and children's activities. The festival takes place on the Market Square and is free to enter.
Magical opening by the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra
The festivities begin on Friday evening with an enchanting performance by the renowned Radio Philharmonic Orchestra led by acclaimed conductor Emilia Hoving. Together with DJ Sint Paul (known from Best Kept Secret and Into the Great Wide Open), they will bring the market square to life. This renowned orchestra, famous for its symphonic concerts and winner of the Edison Oeuvre Award, will provide an unforgettable start to OPEN035.
