Film music on Sunday morning
The best film music needs no screen at all: close your eyes and get lost this Sunday morning in the film worlds of Back to the Future, E.T., Soldier of Orange, Harry Potter and many more compelling blockbusters. From bombastic and adventurous music to the gripping violin solo from Schindler's List: it will be a morning full of goosebumps with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
John Williams
John Williams has been the film music composer of Hollywood for sixty years, as his 54 Oscar nominations prove. Star Wars, Superman, Indiana Jones, Jaws, Jurassic Park, E.T., Schindler's List, Home Alone and the Harry Potter films all came to life thanks to his music. This concert will feature some of his finest scores, including E.T., Harry Potter and Schindler's List. But music by Ennio Morricone and Rogier van Otterloo is also not missing this morning.
