The four musicians of the Simon Rigter Quartet have known each other for years and have played together regularly in various line-ups. Some time ago, they decided to join forces in a new jazz quartet. An exciting and promising initiative. For their performance in this series, they hark back to the illustrious past of Studio 2: a tribute to the jazz heroes who were guests here for concerts and recordings, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Lester Young and Roy Eldridge.
