The duo Claire Parsons & Eran Har Even, formed by British-Luxembourgian jazz singer Claire Parsons and Israeli guitarist Eran Har Even, puts a creative spin on existing compositions, with surprising colors and contrasts. Following their participation in renowned national and international festivals such as Nancy Jazz Pulsations, Jazz A Vienne, Jazz Festival d'Albertville, Jazz A Brides, Biennale de Jazz Aux Perreux, Amersfoort Jazz Festival, So What's Next, Baku Jazz Festival, the duo released their first EP OnOff at the end of 2019.
Guitarist, composer and teacher Eran Har Even is a leading figure in the Dutch jazz scene. He has collaborated with Benny Golson, Terell Stafford, David Friedman, Harmen Fraanje, Jamal Thomas, Joris Roelofs and Gilad Hekselman, among others.
Claire Parsons began playing classical guitar and piano at a young age and went on to study jazz piano, electric guitar and jazz vocals. In 2018, she was nominated in two categories at the Luxembourg Music Awards and won the award of Best Upcoming Musician. In 2019, she won First Prize Albert Michiels at the B-Jazz International Contest in Belgium and first prize at the Jazz Maastricht Professional Awards in 2020.
