The Brazilian pianist Eliane Rodrigues can by now look back on an impressive career, which became international after her participation in the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels in 1983. Apart from being a pianist, she has also been a composer since childhood. In this recital, she performs, among other things, two arrangements for piano of organ works by Bach. A few sparkling sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti serve as a prelude. The fact that Rodrigues also has a special bond with the music of Chopin can be heard in the always surprising First Ballad.
