Pieces of Tomorrow - Tchaikovsky The Nutcracker

Programme

  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Parts of The Nutcracker

Pop and classical music join forces to present Pieces of Tomorrow: classical music in a new guise. In over an hour you will hear fragments from classical masterpieces that you must have heard live once in your life. You can take your drink inside, visuals and light show will support the story and we will let the music speak for itself. Host DJ St. Paul will ask the conductor and musicians all sorts of questions so that you can learn the story behind the music. Immerse yourself in the sound of a full symphony orchestra!

About the Music
It doesn't get more Christmassy than this: Tchaikosvki's Nutcracker in the dark days of mid-December. It's the Toy Story of 130 years ago, with live toys, a sugar plum fairy, a mouse king, a handsome prince of course, wrapped in a setting of Christmas trees and crackling fireplaces. At Pieces you will hear the musical highlights from this Christmas classic.

Afterparty
After the concert, the party continues until midnight. The bar is open, St. Paul provides danceable tunes and the musicians mingle with audience members for a chat.
