In honor of Hilversum's 600th anniversary, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra created a new work, presented to the Municipality of Hilversum. The work "Hilfershem" was written by percussionist Vincent Cox and premiered at the New Year's Concert of the Municipality of Hilversum.

The work was recorded at the Broadcasting Music Center on Feb. 28, 2024.
