Ans van Dam

Ans van Dam is alto in the Groot Omroepkoor. 

She was born in 1954 in Woerden. Ans studied at the Utrechts Conservatorium. Here she obtained her diplomas in 1978 and 1980. After that she followed the three-year course of the Studio of the Dutch Opera Foundation. Her teachers were Dora Lindeman, Jos Burcksen and Aafje Heynis.
Ans previously worked as a freelance opera and oratorio singer. Since 1997 she has had a fulltime job with the Groot Omroepkoor. Besides, she still sings solo roles regularly in productions of various broadcasters.
