Arjan Wildschut

Arjan Wildschut is an altoist in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. He was born in 1968 in Benschop. He studied at the Sweelinck Conservatoire in Amsterdam. Here he graduated cum laude in 1995 as performing musician. His teachers were Jo Juda, Jeanelotte Hertzberger, Matthias Maurer and Jürgen Kussmaul.

Arjan has previously played in various orchestras, such as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest, the European Community Youth Orchestra, Nieuw Sinfonietta Amsterdam and the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. He was also active in the field of chamber music as a member of the Erard Ensemble. With this ensemble he also made recordings of trios by Joseph Jongen. In 1994, Arjan Wildschut joined the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
