Arjan Woudenberg

Arjan Woudenberg (1977) is 1st clarinetist of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. He studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In 2003 he completed his studies with a distinction for artistry under George Pieterson. Arjan Woudenberg was a solo clarinettist with the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic until its dissolution in August 2013.
Besides his work for these orchestras, he plays chamber music. For example, he played at the International Chamber Music Festival in Delft. With the Doelen Quartet he played the clarinet quintets of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Tristan Keuris and Wolfgang Rihm.
Arjan Woudenberg was guest programmer at the Stichting Raadhuis Concerten Hilversum.
As a soloist he performed in Karl Amadeus Hartmann's Kammerkonzert with the Doelen Quartet and the Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra. A live recording of the concert was made and released on SACD by the German label Cybele records.
