Ben Martin Weijand

Ben Martin Weijand is a pianist and accompanist with the Groot Omroepkoor. He was born in 1958 in Hengelo and studied piano as his main subject at the Brabant Conservatoire. He completed his studies in 1984. He had lessons from Theo Bles and Liana Serbescu. He also followed courses with Rudolf Jansen and Vitaly Margulis.

Ben Martin worked as an accompanist at the vocal department of the Brabants Conservatorium from 1983 to 1997. He has also worked with many instrumentalists and ensembles. Since 1993 Ben Martin has worked with the Groot Omroepkoor. He is also a regular guest with the Nederlands Kamerkoor, Cappella Amsterdam, the Nationaal Jeugdkoor and the Brabantkoor.
