Yvonne Hamelink

Yvonne Hamelink is second violinist in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. She was born in 1971 in Waalre. In 1994, she obtained her diploma as a teaching musician. Three years later, she graduated as a performing musician and also obtained her diploma in chamber music. Among her teachers were Kàti Sebestyén, Emmy Verhey, Benzion Shamir and Ron Ephrat.

Yvonne gained orchestral experience in the Musica Ducis Chamber Orchestra, the Brabants Orchestra, the Gelders Orchestra, the North Holland Philharmonic Orchestra, the Rotterdam Chamber Orchestra and the Metropole Orchestra. Since 1998 she has played in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Yvonne Hamelink is also a member of the Isis String Quartet.
