Ewa Wagner

Ewa Maria Wagner is a violist in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. She has been a member of the radio orchestras since settling in the Netherlands in 1991.

Ewa studied at the Katowice and Krakow music academies in Poland, where she graduated cum laude. In Munich she took music courses with J. Levin, K. Kashkashian and S. Kamasa. Earlier she worked in The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, the Münchner Kammer Orchester, the Münchner Symphoniker and the orchestra of the Bayerische Rundfunk, where she also played a lot of chamber music.

In addition, Ewa studied Dutch language and literary/cultural essay genre at the Schrijversvakschool in Amsterdam.

Apart from being a viola player in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, she works as a journalist in various editorial boards. Among other things, she writes about everything that directly or indirectly has to do with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Since two years she has also been active as a reviewer for cultural websites.
