Lisinka de Vries-Schuring

The alto mezzo Lisinka de Vries studied at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where she took the Teaching Musician exam in 1993. In 1996 she obtained the diploma for Free Course in Opera. She continued her studies and took guest classes with Diana Forlano, Cristina Deutekom, Herman Woltman, Marian Dieleman and Wout Oosterkamp, among others. At the moment, she is being coached by Joke de Vin. As a soloist, she has made many appearances in chamber music recitals, opera and oratorios.

Lisinka sings in various professional ensembles such as Collegium Vocale Gent, the Nederlands Kamerkoor and the Groot Omroepkoor. She has made a number of CD recordings with these ensembles and regularly works on radio and TV productions.
