Nadia Wijzenbeek

Nadia Wijzenbeek is 1st concert master with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. She made her debut as a soloist in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw (1999) and the Royal Albert Hall in London (2004) with the Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra respectively. She returned to the Concertgebouw with orchestras such as the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and the Symphony Orchestra of the Amsterdam Conservatory.
Nadia has given recitals in venues including Vredenburg Utrecht, the Concertgebouw and Felix Meritis in Amsterdam, Diligentia in The Hague, the Palace of Fine Arts in Brussels, the Rachmaninov Hall in Moscow, the Glazunov Hall in St Petersburg and the Rudolphinum in Prague. Her concerts are regularly broadcast on the radio.
As a chamber musician, Nadia Wijzenbeek is part of the internationally renowned Lendvai String Trio with which she regularly performs on stages in Central and Eastern Europe. The Lendvai String Trio has won various prizes. In 2008, the trio made an extensive tour of Sweden.
Nadia Wijzenbeek is also a member of the Aronowitz Ensemble in London, with which she was chosen as BBC New Generation Artist. In 2009, the Aronowitz Ensemble was awarded the Borletti Buitoni Ensemble Award. The ensemble is frequently featured on the BBC in live concerts and studio recordings. The ensemble has performed in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall, Sage Gateshead, Aldeburgh, Cheltenham, Glasgow, Cambridge, Aberdeen, Spoleto and for the BBC Proms.
