Noa and Friends

Programme

  • JacobTV Hexagram of the heavens
  • Antonín Dvořák Terzetto for 2 violins and viola
  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Souvenir from Florence

The season has also been special for the artist in residence of the AVROTROS Vrijdagconcert. After playing Saint-Saëns' Third Violin Concerto in September, Noa Wildschut can be heard today in a chamber music programme. With befriended strings she plays Tchaikovsky's Memories of Florence in the version for string sextet and she can be heard in a beautiful Trio for 2 violins and viola by Dvorák. But the programme starts with a world premiere: JacobTV wrote Hexagram of the Heavens especially for Noa and her friends and this concert. "Incredibly beautiful: two trios talking to each other and becoming one, especially in this day and age that gives a feeling of connection," Noa says about the new work. In combination with projected images, this will be a very special concert.

Naturally, this concert will be broadcast live on NPO Radio 4, but it can also be seen as a webcast on the Facebook page of the AVROTROS Vrijdagconcert and nporadio4.nl/live, among others.
