Ian van den Berk

Ian van den Berk received his first violin lessons from Wim Schroten at the music school in Weert and subsequently studied at the Royal Conservatoire with Coosje Wijzenbeek, Peter Brunt and Jaring Walta.

Track record: Academy Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, EnAccord String Quartet, permanent appointment Radio Chamber Philharmonic.

Since 2013 he has been working with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ian has on loan an anonymous Italian violin from around 1790 from the collection of The Musical Instrument Fund.
