Sarah Loerkens

Sarah Loerkens is third leader of the second violins of the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. She was born in 1976 in Lausanne, Switzerland, and began her violin studies at the Neuchatel Conservatoire de Musique. After that she studied at the Musik-Akademie in Basel.

In the Netherlands, she continued her studies at the Sweelinck Conservatoire in Amsterdam, graduating in 2003. Her teachers were Anne Bauer, Thomas Fueri and Valentin Zhuk. Sarah has played in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra since 2000.
