Stephan Wienjus

Stephan Wienjus was born in Amsterdam in 1958. He studied double bass with Peter Stotijn at the Utrecht Conservatoire. In 1988 he received his diploma as Performing Musician here. Stephan was the bass guitarist with the pop group Het Goede Doel. With this group, he won a Silver Harp. He also made many CD recordings with Het Goede Doel, which won gold or platinum.

Stephan Wienjus is a double bass player in the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and has been employed by the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep since 1988. In addition, he works freelance as a bass guitarist and bass player with Het Goede Doel. He has also worked as such on CD recordings by Het Goede Doel, Herman van Veen, René Froger and others.

In his spare time, Stephan likes to work in and around the house.
