Grammy nomination for Bartók album
Friday, November 10, it was announced that Karina Canellakis and the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra have been nominated for the prestigious GRAMMY Awards in the "Best Orchestral Performance" category. In Podium, the conductor reacted to this nomination.
"I am so pleased to hear that my Bartók recording with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra has been nominated for a Grammy," Canellakis said in a comment. "It's a wonderful nod to this highly expressive and compelling music, but also to the musical journey the orchestra and I have taken together over the years. Congratulations RFO!"
