Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra with Rosanne Philippens

Programme

  • Antonín Dvořák Romance for violin and orchestra
  • Maurice Ravel Tzigane
  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Serenade for strings

Rosanne Philippens graduated summa cum laude from the conservatoire. Step by step she conquered the international stage with her exceptional talent. She is known for her love of going off the beaten track, and she performs frequently as a chamber musician. We know for sure: with the relatively small ensemble of the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, she will completely conquer the Grote Zaal this evening. Rosanne Philippens already performed Ravel's Tzigane on her debut album from 2013, so she masters the characteristics of Hungarian gypsy music to perfection.
